Medieval City

This UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is the largest inhabited medieval city

in Europe, is 6 km from the Kresten Royal Euphoria resort.

Transport yourself back in time by walking through the cobblestone narrow

streets of the medieval city of Rhodes. It will soon feel as if, just around the

corner, you will run into one of the Knights of St John on horseback. These

Knights occupied the island from 1309 to 1522 and the island’s present-day

character is largely owed to them. The numerous towering gates, the well-

preserved medieval fortress walls and moat, the atmospheric Street of the

Knights, the imposing Palace of the Grand Master (now housing the Byzantine
